Dr. Rochelle Brinton


Dr. Rochelle Brinton started working with Cheshire Cat Clinic as early as 1986 and has practiced in San Diego for the past 24 years as a Licensed Independent Contractor. Dr. Brinton received her D.V.M. from Colorado State University in 1984. She served as  President of the San Diego County Veterinary Medical Association in 1992, served six years on the Executive Board, and continues to be active as Chair of the Committee on Independent Contractor Relations. Dr. Brinton founded the San Diego Feral Cat Coalition in 1989 (see http://www.feralcat.com/) and continues to passionately promote sterilization of  feral cats, and all pets, as an essential social and ethical means of reducing the needless homelessness and suffering of companion animals. She worked the intense and high paced practice of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care for 18 years, and has special intersts in surgery, ophthalmology, and cats! Her hobbies are camping, hiking, biking, SCUBA diving, traveling, theatre, and reading.
